BUT STILL! I WANT TO INVITE YOU ALL TO A MEGA COLLAB ABOUT INTERNET AESTHETICS

WHAT IS THIS?!

By internet aesthetics I don't just mean aesthetics like Webcore, Enawave or Dreamcore that use digital stuff, but even fashion styles like Emo, Punk, and other things registered on Aesthetics wiki!

The goal is that by using a topic as general as aesthetics, there is a good variety of styles, and that the artist experiments and uses their creativity to the maximum with something like a concrete topic!

What you will have to draw is according to the aesthetic you chose, an avatar, original character, fan character, person or something of your own in full body, and with details of the aesthetic

For example, if you chose 2010s internet you could put references to the old internet

if you chose dreamcore you could put liminal text next to your oc and indie kid clothes

if you chose emo you could make your oc with an emo style and even the art style!

WHEN WILL IT BE UPLOADED?

The collab will be made public when all artists finish, however, the deadline will be February 2nd, after this date no more drawings will be accepted

Registration will always be open, but it would be a bit silly to register on January 30th or something like that

RULES AND INTERESTING DETAILS

YOU CANNOT MAKE NSFW OR EXCESSIVE GORE ART, the maximum range will be teen T, I will not accept art that would easily fall into M or A!

You can use light blood and small wounds or things like bandages, weapons and unhappy facial features, just don't make it too grotesque

very similar with the clothes that your oc wears, especially on female characters

I WOULD APPRECIATE if you don't upload your drawing before the collab is published, I understand if you're proud of it and if you do I really won't do anything about it, but I would really prefer it to stay there until everyone finishes, once the collab is published by me, of course you can publish your drawing individually without any problem

this is basic but it is necessary to say it... NO AI, NO TRACING, NO RECOLOR, NO TRACE, NO STEAL, BE A CLEAN ARTIST!!!

There is a discord server, basically my usual one, this IS NOT MANDATORY and you can participate in the collab without the need to enter!! It's just so you can have more details like the aesthetics already taken, how many artists finished, news about the collab, progress, and even socialize, however, this is completely VOLUNTARY and if you don't want to join, that's your right, if you do want to join, here's the server!

Once you read all that and the blacklist at the end, just let me know you want to be in, give me at least three aesthetics just in case, since the aesthetic you want is probably already claimed!

If any of your options are still free, I'll let you know, keep in mind that I'll go one person at a time to avoid 1 on 1 problems..

Hi there! I'm really sorry for my inactivity, I didn't just die on Newgrounds, on other platforms too

Actually, the little activity I've shown on other sites has been stuff I never uploaded or reuploaded from one platform to another, and they're already here so I couldn't put it here

University has kept me pretty busy, but we're close to December break! It seems like a long time away but I really trust it will be soon

Also, other things I've done like collabs and help with things like fnf mods, I can't publish them since they don't belong to me or they're not finished (please some composer come as an angel to save us on datn, we're about to make v1 public please :,vv)

So, I haven't had time to make a classic drawing so to speak, I haven't even finished the drawings for the anniversary month with my girlfriend xc

but everything is fine!

I have a lot of ideas in mind, really! I want to do a lot of things and I want to get a few done today

I probably won't do the animations I wanted, but I want to do a few drawings

I'll soon be of age and I want to have things to make a commission board, so maybe I'll do fanarts of people from newgrounds :)

Also, Featured Fighters, although it's kind of dead, hasn't been cancelled or suspended! We're just working at a slow pace

I also want to do other projects and work with Lua outside of FNF, and other things, I'm really full of projects that even though they're for fun, I want to make them public

So that's all, I hope you understand why I slowed down on things, but don't worry, I've been in some collabs yet, and I haven't finished my ideas, on the contrary, there are so many that I don't know where to start haha

Just as a fan made, I thought of a Newgrounds island, I plan to just draw it in color, and maybe make Idle animations, although I don't promise that.

Well, yes, there are a lot of "animatic" or audios that have gone viral lately that I want to make, however I'm taking a short break from another social network so I don't know if I can post it here?

I'm referring to those loop animations that everyone probably knows, and little else, I'm just curious if it's allowed here, despite there being animatics and musicals that I've seen here, they're not usually of the "loop" style like the animatic meme from youtube or tiktok, and personally I would not want to get into any kind of problem or violation of the rules

To the point, I recently entered a Nintendo 64 collaboration, and although I didn't read all the comments, I took a quick look at the vast majority, sometimes reacting and sometimes just reading them

Everything was nice when I read the grateful artists, witty jokes about Nintendo and artistic things or people outside of collab just saying "wow what a cool collab"

But from one dawn to the next I saw that I missed a drama that certain users started, blaming the hosts of the collab for having done something lazy/bad, both internal people of the collab, and external people who simply thought the quality was bad.

I honestly didn't expect much either, friendly reminder that the collab is classified by newgrounds itself as ART and not as a GAME, I am not the best HTML programmer nor an expert in file types but there must be a real reason for that

And I don't know, although some critics were right and were taken in a healthy way without intentions of harming the hosts, some began to insult the artists for their participation or even the hosts, I know that Newgrounds has never been the most healthy in the world, and it has a bad reputation for being edgy, but come on....

I simply want to apologize if my participation is not to the liking of most of you, it was a somewhat quick drawing trying to be responsible with my entry to the collab, when I made the drawing I was just returning to classes and getting used to the teachers, so uh...

I'm just sorry for delivering something that isn't pleasing to the eye, my part is probably one of the most meh and least interesting in the collab, but I feel a little guilty about not helping the collab have a better view.

Even so, I affirm the opinion I gave at the time, I am really happy to have participated in this, and yes, it is not the best Collab, but personally it is not the worst either, I have been in more horrible collaborations, not only because of the quality but for the handling, the way it is handled I think is fine, and well that

I feel like I don't fit in as much in this drama because I'm very meh both in my participation and in the people, but I still felt the need to say something...

So in short words:

I'm very sorry if my drawing doesn't stand out in absolutely anything, I really skipped the drama of this Collab but honestly, I'm not interested in putting so much gossip and unnecessary drama in my head, I just felt responsible to say something about the current situation because it's participate and because it is the first collab to which I am fully invited on Newgrounds.

Even though every day I sometimes draw less due to lack of time, emotion and honestly leisure, I still have a lot pending for here and for everyone!

- I am going to ask for help to find artists, programmers and composters for here, respectively for DATN

- Wakusei Project is still in progress! Recently I was just finalizing the designs of some OCs, I plan to upload them but I don't know where, I'm not sure either.

- There is still a pending Tarot collab, and I was thinking of doing a Christmas one, I just haven't had time to publish it

- I have a horror RPG type game prototype with a friend, the project is more of a joke and for fun, so the process will be somewhat slow, we are just getting into the design of the main character and the mechanics

- Finally, NG: Featured Fighters is still in development! I was thinking of publishing the more polished logo and conceptual art to seek help, but I'll see about that later.

I have had a lot of work at school, it is the last months of my last year, you can imagine how much work they have been leaving us for the same reason, right?

So yes, that's it, I've barely had time to draw but don't worry, at least on school holidays I'll be trying to be very active.

Hey smart guys, how have you been? all in order? It's not that I really have a fanbase here, but I'm still sorry for having left the 2 people who happen to find my posts without content.

So what has become of me?

Well, I had a long journey through other funny platforms, I made friends, I made cool people, I have new ways of referring to myself, I basically grew up, and the truth is I feel much happier in life than before.

I also started new habits that I'm NOT proud of at all, and stuff, but I left aside other things that I didn't like, it's a step, don't you think?

But hey, I know you don't care about that so in short, I'm fine!

Why did you leave Newgrounds you little traitor rat?

You may have noticed that my process of uploading posts started to be slower until I uploaded nothing, I'm sorry for that guys.

Well, the main reason is nothing more than literally the inconvenience of uploading things to the computer and then uploading them to Newgrounds

I don't blame Tom, but the current cell phone system really started to be very uncomfortable for me to upload a new project, and sometimes it didn't even work for me, okay, my cell phone sucks, but that discouraged me too much from updating here .

So now that I'm on vacation, I decided to upload absolutely everything that I haven't uploaded from last year, to at least have the memory here, and because I would like to see my entire Newgrounds feed in 2050 and say "Oh I remember this haha how nostalgic " or something like that.

So right now, I'll be uploading that, in the meantime, I present to you an exclusive project that I have in mind on Newgrounds, but probably won't start seriously this year.

Newgrounds: Featured Fighters

What in the Newgrounds Rummble is this thing.

Basically, it is a personal fighting project, yes like NGR, but more in the style of SSB, in which you have to take your enemy out of the playing area and that.

I know absolutely nothing about programming, but my plan is to do it with GameMaker, pixelated style and that cool guys stuff.

I won't pay much attention to it now until I see if anyone really cares about my little project, in the meantime I'll focus on things like Dash At The Night and Wakusei Project, I mention them because DATN is a FNF MOD that could relate something here, and because Wakusei Project is something that I would like to see enter the Featured Series & Collections category, I would be very happy to see it as part of the cool guys at Newgrounds.
